Fifteen diverse men saw the need for a student organization that would provide support for them and others to succeed in higher education. The existing organizations simply did not foster an atmosphere for Latinos to excel in college. With a vision of academic excellence, community service, and the maintenance of the Latino culture through the brotherhood, these gentlemen brought the first Latino fraternity to the west coast.
Gamma Zeta Alpha Fraternity Inc. Is proud to be the first Latino interest fraternity on the West Coast and for over two decades, we have become a vehicle for creating Latino leaders who continue promoting the development of Latino males in higher education. |
